Increment

• Each Increment is additive to all prior Increments and thoroughly verified, ensuring that all Increments work together
• the Increment must be usable and meet the DoD
• Multiple Increments may be created within a Sprint
• The moment a PBI meets the DoD, an Increment is born
• Work cannot be considered part of an Increment unless it meets the DoD
• concrete stepping stone toward the Product Goal
• No need to wait for the Sprint Review for releasing: Increment may be delivered to stakeholders prior to the end of the Sprint. The Sprint Review should never be considered a gate to releasing value
• If a PBI does not meet the DoD, it cannot be released/presented at the Sprint Review. It returns to the PB for future consideration
